AmaGroup is a global conglomerate composed of an ecosystem of social enterprises, greentech and Fintechs for good, dedicated to fighting climate change, poverty and deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest and around the world.
We use technological innovations from our disruptive green tech and digital assets vehicles to finance and promote our environmental assets, products and services, thus, helping the world to transition to a more sustainable economy
for the future generations.
We started back in 2008 with our first social enterprise called EBCF (Brazilian Rainforest Conservation Company).
EBCF’s mission is to promote positive impacts in the fight of climate change by acquiring and managing big private properties in the Amazon Rainforest to transform them into protected Private Reserves thus promoting Sustainable Development of local indigenous communities generating measurable and audited social-environmental impacts.
As part of our group’s social-environmental and climate’s mission, Amagroup`s founder and President, Leonardo Barrionuevo, co-founded Amazon Protection Foundation “APF”, a 501C3 certified foundation based out of Miami.
Amagroup also pioneered in the start up world founding Amabank, classified as “Fintech - For - Good”.
Amabank is an impact bank based out of Brazil. It’s considered the future of digital banks.
In 2013 our company EBCF certified the first Private Reserve for Sustainable Development established in Amazon. Since that our group has been dedicated to create and develop environmental assets, services and products through new technologies and digital assets to promote Rainforest Conservation, Biodiversity Protection, Sustainable Development of Local Communities and CO2 emissions reduction in the Amazon Forest.
We use our digital assets to finance and promote environmental assets, products and services.
